About the program Authentic Inclusion offers a tailored work skills program designed for individuals who need support in finding and keeping a job. As Developmental Educators, we understand that every individual has unique strengths, challenges, and aspirations. This program provides personalised guidance through a combination of individual and group sessions, ensuring participants gain confidence, practical skills, and strategies to achieve their employment goals.

Who is this for? This program is ideal for individuals who are neurodivergent or need extra support to develop work-related skills, navigate the job market, and maintain employment successfully.

Program Structure The program consists of 12 sessions, including individual coaching and small bespoke group sessions.

Session Breakdown
Phase 1: Individual Goal-Setting (3 Sessions Per Person)

Session 1: Initial assessment – Identifying strengths, interests, and employment aspirations.

Session 2: Setting SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) goals and discussing potential barriers to employment.

Session 3: Developing a personalized action plan and identifying workplace accommodations or support needs.

Phase 2: Group Skill-Building (7 Sessions)

Session 4: Understanding workplace expectations – Professionalism, communication, and teamwork.

Session 5: Resume writing and job application skills – Tailoring applications to match job roles.

Session 6: Interview skills – Practicing common interview questions and self-advocacy.

Session 7: Managing workplace challenges – Handling stress, conflict resolution, and self-care.

Session 8: Workplace rights and responsibilities – Understanding fair work policies and self-advocacy.

Phase 3: Individual Follow-Up (2 Sessions Per Person)
